BIO: Amanda’s work has appeared in New Madrid, The Baltimore Sun, Prick of the Spindle, The Sentinel Quarterly, Haight Ashbury Literary Journal, among others. She was awarded a Patterson Writer’s Residency at The Creative Alliance in Baltimore City from 2014 – 2016, and is a three time recipient of scholarships to the Vermont Writing Studios. She is creator and curator of the quarterly, collaborative, read & response series Open Circle, and fiction editor for the Baltimore Review. She completed her MFA in Creative Writing in 2012, and teaches at the University of Maryland at College Park.
